MONTJÜIC & CLOWNING CALAVERAS /
Two micro concerts + interval
The Suitcase of 42 songs
Montjüic is a group made up of two musicians (Jesús Osuna and Carmen García), 10 instruments, one suitcase and 42 songs. In this concert for the 5 senses the proposal is to see, to hear, to touch, to smell and to taste 42 stories told through the 42 objects that the artists carry in their suitcase. Cello, clarinet, guitars, mandolin, metallophones and melodicas are the tools for their storytelling, counting also on the active collaboration of the audience that makes each session different and unrepeatable. An encounter to talk about that personal relationship that we all establish with the music. Talking about music, through the objects and their stories to ultimately talk about ourselves.
Jesús Osuna Rodríguez and Carmen García Moreno.
Concert for hand saw and subaquatic music
Fran Torres and Jasio Velasco, featuring Martáfora in the audiovisual production propose an interactive concert that will take the audience to the oceanic depths. Have you ever stopped to think how impressive is the sound of the ice when it is cracking? Or how does the sea life sound? The attending children will activate with a makey makey plate the different submarine sound touching the water stored in buckets. The resulting sounds of the oceans will be combined with the duet of musical hand saws and with a work of live video-screenings in this particular journey to the bottom of the sea.
