DENYS STETSENKO: VIOLIN | EVA PARMENTER: DIATONIC ACCORDEON & VOCALS | MATI@S: DANCE MONITOR | WITH THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE FOLK ENSEMBLE WORKSHOP AND THE SOCIAL DANCE WORKSHOP

When music brings dances from here and there, embraced by the meeting between a violin and a concertina. Amid mazurkas of water, polskas of air, circles of earth and Scottish reels of fire, there is a sense of renewal, interpretation and creation.
We can understand that, here, traditional music from the past is transformed, other music is composed, the present-day inspiration merging with the traces of the past. We travel across the whole of Europe, bringing together Italian, French, Swedish, Portuguese and many other national dances.
At this dance, Parapente700 will share the stage with the young people that took part in the folk ensemble workshop, as well as those from the traditional European dance workshop.
The spectators who only come to see the dancing will also be encouraged to take part. Kids and grown-ups alike will be invited to take part in group dances or dances with a partner.
