The hurdy-gurdy is a musical instrument of Celtic-Gailic origin. It is through the friction that the wheel makes on the strings that latter vibrate and how the sound is produced. This wheel moves with a crank. It also contains a keyboard for playing melodies.
AMOURA is the reinterpretation of the hurdy-gurdy in giant dimensions. During Big Bang, we invite children and adults to enter a sensorial and creative experience while playing inside and outside this giant instrument. Creation and construction by Academia Nacional de Luthiers.
