The series Da Pele is a set of sound installations (A Teia da Pele and A Memória da Pele) that was born as a development of a research focused on adufe, initiated and presented at MATSDAY of the Master's Degree in Sound Arts and Technologies at ESMAE (School of Music and Performing Arts).
The hands complement the tambourines. If rested on a relational web, all it takes is a movement, a breath, to create a feedback movement that is difficult to stop: a flood of blows and voices that gain strength through relationship and multiplication. This is the power of the whole: the collective and its memory, materialized in a simple instrument of four boards and a skin.
