Saguenay artists Sara Létourneau and Chantale Boulianne imagine and build astonishing giant instruments, which they constantly transform, combine, dismantle, and reinvent. They unfold a series of sonic and physical tableaux where body, matter, and music intertwine. Acoustic or amplified, their invented instruments offer a surprising sonic palette, sometimes delicate, sometimes explosive. Throughout the performance, they engage in an intense and frenetic process of musical carpentry that gives rise to a giant music box.
Sensitive Factory is a playful, inventive, and deeply sensory show that reveals how music can be born from anything. At the crossroads of performance art, sound art, and installation, this inventive creation will stay with you long after you've finished watching!
