We met Gabriel Santos at BIG BANG 2023. He was then 12 years old and integrated, with seven other colleagues from the School of Music of the National Conservatory, the project of Victor Gama and his team, as a creator and performer. He already has a long and consistent training as a violinist and, from an early age, showed an interest in conducting an orchestra. His parents supported his particular training in this area.
Today, Gabriel is 15 years old and reveals an enthusiastic and creative spirit: he has founded several orchestras with innovative musical projects in the area of classical music, involving colleagues from the Conservatory and the School of Music. He has also participated in the organization of summer internships.
In the dialogue he has maintained with Fábrica das Artes, Gabriel has expressed several times the desire to find regular support for the stages and concerts of his orchestra. BIG BANG 2026 is the right space to support the «Mini Maestro» and make his orchestra known to the festival's audiences.
