Drummers Sigurður Ingi Einarsson and Hrafnkell Örn Guðjónsson have, in recent months, traveled far and wide across the country, teaching children to drum on paint buckets (yes, you read that right—the black buckets from the hardware store).
Now it’s the turn of students from three primary schools in Breiðholt to take part, and it’s been said that children in Breiðholt are especially energetic and have a great sense of rhythm. The result will be performed for festival guests, who can expect fun grooves, impressive fills, and incredible energy—after all, over 100 buckets will be sounding at the same time!
