AddisAbabaBand is a large and ambitious orchestra that has been setting dance floors on fire with intensely swinging funk music for over a decade. The band consists of drums, bass and percussion, which in combination with guitar and organ are sure to create a party in the square. A razor-sharp horn-section stands in front of it all.
AddisAbabaBand has played on countless stages in Denmark. The band's latest album won an award from the Statens Kunstfond and the band has been nominated for several other awards, including the Carl Nielsen award and the Danish Music Awards.
