Baby Opera 2

Amor´s Ease is set in the Baroque period: two characters play music and dance. One stumbles, trips, falls and experiences an overwhelming pain! Her companion tries to comfort her, but what helps the most is a song. Suddenly the other character stumbles and falls. And luckily their first urge to relieve the pain this time, is to sing a beautiful song.

The music is composed by Eivind Buene, including fragments from the opera King Arthur by Henry Purcell. The main idea behind this comical opera, is how caring for someone can make a significant difference, and how music and song can comfort.

Amor`s Ease, opera for babies is a co-production between Babyopera and the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet.
