This brass band, usually a quintet, is exceptionally expanded to become a traveling big band during the BIG BANG festival, with improvisational direction by the amazing Fred Lebrasseur . These playful troubadours never play the same piece twice, creating everything right before your ears based on their conductor's instructions. From funk to New Orleans jazz, by way of Balkan or Brazilian music, anything is possible!
The use of a variety of instruments offers limitless possibilities. The four saxophones blend well with percussion, while the electronic saxophone (EWI) allows for playing electronic music, hip-hop, futuristic music, or even electroacoustic music. And what about the surprises Capucine has in store for you with her newly invented instruments!
Be ready because Fred won't hesitate to pass his conductor's baton to someone from the audience! And get ready: this brass band never marches straight ahead, but it's always together!
