Have you ever seen an instrument that creates mist? ELOI is a two-metre-long transparent structure, full of tubes, valves and tiny flutes. You can see right through it. Yet you don’t quite understand how it works. And that is exactly the point.

Two musicians, Bert De Rycke & Jasmijn Lootens, play it: with their hands, their breath, their whole bodies. The sounds you hear are sometimes familiar, sometimes from another planet. They swirl through the space, change shape, disappear and reappear.
